welcome!
Welcome to ‘Flowers by Kath’ by Kath Clarke in Tickhill. I started working in floral design in 2005, bringing fresh, innovative designs to floristry.
I have been creating beautiful wedding flowers and other arrangements for over eight years now and deliver flowers to Doncaster, Sheffield and Rotherham and other surrounding areas in South Yorkshire.
I can create a range of original styles and designs for every occasion, making me one of the leading floral designers in South Yorkshire.
I pride myself on my innovative designs for weddings, proms, parties, private and corporate events and sympathy flowers.
Why Choose Me
How I started out
I originally started out as a make-up artist in the beauty business over 30 years ago. Over the years I saw so many brides who were disappointed with their wedding flowers because the colours did not match their theme or the quality of the workmanship was so poor. I stepped in on many occasions to re-assemble bouquets which were falling apart or to make last-minute repairs and eventually I decided to re-train in this area. I can offer modern and traditional arrangements with flair and attention to the finest detail.
Qualifications
NOCN qualifications, 5 years at Doncaster College.
CITY & GUILDS Balloon Design & Display, Doncaster College.
Balloon Arrangements
I can also provide decorative balloon arrangements for any event or occasion.

Make-up and BeautyChoosing your flowers
1Wedding flowers
Fresh flowers will enhance your wedding in many ways but the one floral accessory everyone will remember is the bride’s bouquet. Choosing the flowers for your bouquet will be one of the most enjoyable parts of planning your wedding. It will be the most photographed floral arrangement of the day and it should complement you and your dress perfectly.
2Recent trends
There are no hard and fast rules about wedding flowers and it really is down to your own personal taste. In recent years there has been a trend for simple, round hand-tied bouquets on natural stems, usually of the same coloured roses, tied with a matching ribbon.
3Formal weddings
If you are planning a more formal wedding, you will probably choose an all-white bouquet with one type of flower or a combination. Some brides feel uncomfortable at the thought of wearing all white and carrying white flowers and prefer to pick a pale or pastel colour instead. They can also pick this up in their make-up and nail varnish.
4Less formal weddings
Less formal and casual weddings are more likely to use colour and to include a larger assortment of flowers.
